Our brand’s namesake, and clearly the man with the green thumb and golden shears, Eliseo “Lee” Silva arrived in Washington State from Mexico at the age of 14—the second youngest of 20 children. Lee, through perseverance and diligence, has risen to become the Vineyard Manager for the Alice and Areté Vineyards of Tagaris Winery—over 300 acres of vineyards in the Columbia Valley appellation with the distinction of producing some of the most highly sought-after fruit in the state. Lee’s success is most certainly a result of his intelligence, dedication, and hard work, not to mention the fact that he’s a darn nice guy!
